2024-05-30 10:23:07

Wuthering Waves has finally launched as one of the best action RPG games in the setting of an open world, and this story rick game comes with so many amazing elements to keep you stuck with every part of its gameplay. You will be a Rover who is taking an adventure from a new world, and since this is an action RPG game, every step you take here is countered with the things you earned from its gacha system.

Wuthering Waves Gacha System Guide

The gacha system in this game is not only related to the Wuthering Waves tier list of characters because it is a system that allows you to earn weapons as well. So, if you are planning on taking the most powerful weapons or the resonators, you need to be fully aware of this system, so here we are. We are going to cover every aspect of this gacha system today so you won’t feel lost when you have to deal with it.

Gacha Banners in Wuthering Waves

Before you try to become familiar with the gacha system as a Wuthering Waves beginner, you need to be aware of its banners. Here, we have a specific name for it: Convene. You can have your Wuthering Waves reroll here by using a currency named Astrites, and you can even use gacha tickets for it named Tides.

For those who want to earn more of these Tides and Astrites, you all have to follow through more in-game missions, buy them from shops, and follow more events. When we talk about gacha tickets or the Tides here, they will be featured under three types: Lustrous, Radiant, and Forging. You can have them by exchanging your Astrites, and among these, Radiant and Forging tides are useful to pull through the character and weapon event convenes respectfully.

On the other hand, we can use the Lustrous tides for our character permanent, Novice, and weapon permanent convenes, so use them all according to your needs. From three-star to five-star rarities, you can earn both resonators and weapons in this game by following the Convening.

Convenes in Wuthering Waves

We have different convenes or gacha banners to deal with in this game for different purposes, so to be well aware of the gacha system, you need to be aware of these convenes, too. So, let’s have a look.

Novice Convene

This is the first banner you will deal with, and it comes with a limit of 50 to pull within. The first 50 pulls done here are going to offer you a 5-star resonator, and unlike the usual gacha banners, there is no single pulling here; you have to convene 10x for all the times, which will also be known as a multi pull. Even though this costs you Lustrous Tides, don’t get too panicked about it because, with each pull, you will be offered a 20% discount.

Novice Convene

Both resonators and weapons can be earned through this Novice convene. Still, an exception has been applied for the five-star resonators here. You only get Calcharo, Encore, Verina, and Jianxin, as well as Lingyang, from this banner as five-star resonators, and the rates for the weapons are featured as follows.

  • 0.8% for a 5-star weapon or a resonator
  • 6.0% for a 4-star weapon or a resonator

Weapon Permanent Convene

This is a gacha banner in the Wuthering Waves, which is dedicated mainly to weapons, and you can do 10x as well as 1x pulls here by using Lustrous Tides. The best thing about this banner is that you have the freedom to select a 5-star rarity here as you desire, and within 80 convenes, you are going to earn a 5-star weapon here. Cosmic Ripples, Static Mist, Abyss Surges, Lustrous Razor, and an Emerald of Genesis are the only five-star weapons you can earn here. The rates for pulling in this banner are as follows.

Weapon Permanent Convene

  • 0.8% for a 5-star weapon
  • 6% for a 4-star resonator or for a weapon

Weapon Event Convene

Weapon events in this game are mainly here for the weapons, and you can earn them by spending Forging tides. 80 pulls guarantee a 5-star weapon here, and the rates for weapons or resonators will go as follows.

Weapon Event Convene

  • 0.8% for a 5-star weapon
  • 6% for a 4-star weapon or for a resonator

Character Permanent Convene

In this banner, you will have the opportunity to do both single and 10x pulling by using Lustrous tides. Verina, Calcharo, Encore, Jianxin, and Lingyang are the only five-star resonators to be earned here, and they can be earned with an 80-pull guarantee. The rates to earn your characters and weapons here are:

Character Permanent Convene

  • 0.8% for a 5-star resonator
  • 6% for a 4-star weapon or for a resonator

Character Event Convene

With this banner, you can do 1x and 10x pilling by using Radiant Tides to resonators and weapons, and a five-star can be guaranteed here within 80 pulls. The rates here are as follows.

Character Event Convene

  • 0..8% for a 5-star resonator
  • 6% for a 4-star resonator or for a weapon

An Overview for the In-Game Currencies

Since you have to spend different currencies for each of the banners here, having an idea of them all is what you need as a newbie, so let’s now have a look into the in-game currencies.

Afterglow Corals and Oscillate Corals

These two in-game currencies are used to buy tides from stores, and you can earn more of these through Convening. In addition to tides, these currencies can also be used for your material upgrades and to buy wavebands along with other resources. Oscillate corals can be earned once you have a 3-star weapon by doing a convening, and there will be 15 of these corals to earn with every 3-star weapon that you have.

Afterglow Corals and Oscillate Corals

On the other hand, there will be different amounts of Afterglow Corals to be earned with different actions in the Wuthering Waves gameplay, and here is how they are going.

  • 3 Afterglow Corals with any 4-star weapon
  • 3 Afterglow Corals with 1 to 6 duplicate 4-star resonators, and after the sixth, you will earn 8 of these corals. Along with the Afterglow Corals, you will be able to earn a Waveband as well here.
  • 15 Afterglow Corals for a 5-star weapon
  • 15 Afterglow Corals for 1 to 6 5-star resonator duplicates. After that, the amount of corals you earn will be raised to 40.

Please note that you can also increase your chances of earning a high-ranked hero through LDPlayer 9 since it is capable of cloning your game to different instances. You only need the Multi-Instance Sync feature there, and you are all good to reroll in different instances at the same time.

Conclusion

And so with that, our guide for the Wuthering Waves gacha system is going to end here. If you are a new player, please understand that there are different banners for each purpose with their own pity systems, so understand them one by one by using our guide. So it will help you do your best with your adventure here, and let our guide be your ultimate help with this pulling system.
